I was very interested in this project very early on, when I first starting to work for BIBA Publishing.
This live webinar was a sponsored by Siemens Healthineers and they did not want it to be pre-recorded (we ended doing a combination of both. Pre-recorded presentations but a live Q&A). Because of my background in Multimedia Broadcast Journalism, I became really involved. I liaised with the clients, worked on the promotion and conducted the live stream.
Originally, the livestream was meant to be conducted in-person by a production agency and my role was to produce it and oversee that everything was up to the client's standard, as well as up to BIBA Publishing's standards. However, as the pandemic hit and travel restrictions were introduced, the project evolved into a remote livestream, where I directed the live Q&A.
